I am making a prototyping board that needs to have video in/out and sound in/out. I would like to have as few ICs as possible. Since this is for educational purposes, it is pretty flexible as to what to put on...
Also, a while ago I used to go to questlink.com and browse the chip categories to find ICs. Now they have redisigned the site so that it is pretty useless to me. Are there any other web sites that would allow me to go down the IC tree until I home in on video decoders for example, and just see what's out there?

Thanks...
