vhdl code common for fpga and cpld

hi,

i had worked with fpga. but now i am try to work with CPLD for my small application. will vhdl code used in fpga will compatible with cpld devices.? will we use same vhdl code for cpld?
Please let me know.

The code should be the same assuming that you are not using any fpga specific resources like PLL or DCM
