I've encountered many errors when using HFSS but this one is a new one to me...

" Adaptive solution setup, process abc3d : subprocess "wave" encountered error in second point addition. "

I am also in the middle of a parametric solve setup and I can't go back to have it try again, it just goes on to solving the next design variation...

I am using the driven solver w/ lumped ports and a radiation boundary

It happened in adaptive pass #11 /13 when using about 2.5GB of RAM... Shouldn't be a problem though since previous design variations all did the full 13 passes I have set, and used more RAM (~3.5GB) then that without a problem.

Im using a S939 dual-core opteron 185, tyan mobo w/ 4GB of ECC RAM, windows XPx64 and HFSS 10.1

Any thoughts appreciated...

useless suggestion:
copy the project to a new, clean location of your harddrive.
this sometimes solves simulation errors!

(or moves the error to an other step)
