Vector vs scalar control

Anyone knows the pros and cons between vector and scalar control for induction machine ? Or, perhaps the links to the terms. Thanks
 

Scalar control is mostly used in induction motor control.It's easy to implement it.In low frequencies ,torque gets lower levels.Vector control is more accurate but it's very complex.Try some books called "ac drives" .You can find some in the books section.
