Hello there,
I have an Advantest R3762AH Vector Network Analyzer with the S parameter test set.
Anyway this VNA has an annoying feature of requiring the calibration data to be reloaded via floppy each time the unit is powered on.
To alleviate this problem I have written an Excel macro that allows the user to perform S parameter measurements, apply error correction to the data and then save the data in a .S2p file for simulation purposes. The macro is attached. Hopefully it will prove useful to someone else and perhaps they can see if they can find any bugs with it. So far measurements have appeared to be accurate. One floor of the macro is that I use ideal models for the standards as opposed to the standard definition tables. In future I will update the macro to store calibration data in a database.
Cheers
