Hi,
I need to drive a 12V motor that will have a heavy load which means it will suck an awful lot of current- The TC4424 is a low current mosfet h-bridge. Is there another package or alternative chip that would do the job?
Thanks

tc4424 motor driver

here i give you the datasheet of TC4424

tc4424 application

The typical application of theTC4424 is not driving motors but driving MOSFETs .. see its data sheet at: **broken link removed**

Basically, you have two options:
- build H-bridge with discrete transistors such as MOSFETs and drive them of the TC4424 ICs, or
- utalize an off-the-shelf motor driver IC, for example the L298 ( http://www.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/1773.pdf ) ..

Regrads,
IanP
