Hi,
I am working on developing a USB device using PIC16lf1454. The device is not getting recognized by the computer, I tried debugging but I have no idea why it is happening. Also, there is no log created by the host controller of the computer. I am wondering if I can find a usb host controller emulator made for usb testing which can respond to my device, so that I can debug it better.
Thanks,
aforak

Hi,

It may be a hardware problem or a software problem.
But you neither show your schenatic, nor your code, so how can we help?

There are test tools for Windows and Linux that monitor device enumeration. You get a first information in device manager. If the device isn't even shown as non-working USB device, you most likely missed to activate the PIC USB interface or don't connect the USB pins correctly.
