I found it on opencores.com under name of "Integer Serial Divider" and tried to understand but couldn't get

I tried to find "Integer serial divider" (3 words in this exact sequence), and there
are only 2 occurences on the net. 2 pdfs. So this is probably not a well known
term. Try to understand what they want to say by reading the context.
