uninstalling Grub

hi there, i have a question about boot loaders. I installed win xp on my primary partition, and the red hat on the second one.
The boot loader is grub, and i want to uninstall linux from this pc
Here is the deal: can i erase the partition with partition magic and the boot from a floppy to clear master boot record ? will this work like it does with win 98 ?
Should i do this in a different way ?

THANKS!!

He can not start up in dos the machine. He must download some boot disk or make one in some machine and and boot the PC via floppy disk

then enter the command "fdisk /mbr"
