ultrasonic sensor HC-SR 04 sensor with pi16f1847

i am working with ultrasonic sensor and LCD in pic16f1847 .I am using interrupt for distance measurement. LCD and sensor both are working but my problem is variation of distance is not linear in LCD....i think made mistake in distance calculation...pls anybody guide me...........

The microcontroller used there is different,but the basic steps for carrying out the interfacing with the ultrasonic sensor are the same.
