ULN2803 to driva and Triac BT136 (AT89C2051)

Can i give the output of AT89C2051 thru ULN2803 to drive Traic BT136 , which will be connected to a 230v bulb.

Or Optoisolator can be activated directly but MC port output?
 

Hi,

NO ! you cannot use a ULN2803 for controlling a mains triac there is no isolation, use a proper opto isolator, many circuits around.
