i still don't understand why it has 2 emitters, can you please explain it better why it has 2 emitters, what does it do when having 2 emitters?

Does it output more current?

why the 2 emitters? what does having 2 emitters do? why not 2 bases? or 2 collectors?

How does this 2 emitter transistor work in the schematic please? IMG_20140301_061353_005.jpg
