Dear all,

Can some one share me the circuit diagram for connecting ttl to RS 485 and RS232 using max 485 and max 232 IC

For the MAX232 look in the data sheet, it shows examples.

The MAX 485 also has examples in the data sheet but note that it also needs direction control signals so if you are plannng on using it as a serial extender, bear in mind some extra circuits may be needed. If you simply want to run a very long and fast serial link, look at using MAX488 or MAX489 instead. They need an extra pair of wires for bidirectional data.

Brian.

CAN YOU SHARE ME THE LINK FOR GETTING THE SCHEMATIC FOR ABOVE.

I HAVE GPS SENSOR WHICH GIVES TTL OUT PUT . I WANNA CONVERT USING MAX485 ic
