how to build the triangular waveform with variable amplitude and variable frequency?
the frequency 1Hz-1kHz.

i had try the schmitt trigger connected to the integrator,but it is only for the fixed amplitude and variable frequency.

none programming method.

How about a variable voltage divider at the output?

Re: triangular wave generator with variable amplitude&fr

here is my circuit.do u mean connect the voltage divider at the output of the op-amp u17.

Hi rockyou,

In your circuit you can change both frequency and amplitude. The design equations for your circuit are:

Peak-to-peak voltage, Vpp= (2* (R6) * (Vsat)) / (Rft) ;

Vsat=saturation voltage of op-amp

and

frequency, Fo= (Rft)/ (4*(R5)*(R6)*(C1))

Its clear that both frequency and amplitude are interdependent.

thank you matbob,u help me alot.
btw,make the Rft and R6 as a variable resistance will do?

Re: triangular wave generator with variable amplitude&fr

how to solve the peak of this triangular?why got distorted at the peak?

Hi rockyou,
Are you sure, that this is not an effect of your digitizer pls?
Can you check it wit an analog scope?
Did you checked with higher sampling rate too?

Added after 1 minutes:

hmm,
Sorry; I checked yet, that is an output of simulation...

how to check sampling rate?
im not sure that is effect of digitizer.

Hi rockyou,

I don't know if it is important for you, but your circuit has some disadvantages:
Amplitude/frequency of the produced signal depend on power supply voltages and the opamp type.

it's ok for now.i jz make it as variable frequency only.

I dont know, but I think that you can set "time step/division" of your simulation?
