Transferring embedded OS and application to the target board

greetings

Im a beginer in embedded systems and also linunx.i need help. I am using bluecat linux as my embedded OS and RedHat 9 as my dedvelopment host. I want to transfer my OS and application from my host to my target board. Im using a old desktop PC intel celeron 500 as my target. I want to transfer using TFTP . ive set up the server in my host already. wat do i neeed to do in my target, eg how do i set its ip add and how do i know wether the network card is detected....??

In your target, you might type "ip_address" to show what's the IP address of your target.

Which bootloader did you adopt to your target?
