Goto setting mode by typing LLL on hyperterminal
(connect suitable port as used by FTDI chip and 9600,8,1,0 settings
also enable local echo and CR+LF)
Try following commands

AT+MODE=19200,8,1,0
AT+NAME=abhaya.vin

just open terminal and set new connection don't need to select spp first send any dat to bluetooth modem adjust baud rate to synchronize with your mobile code if it receives data must show on window first try to do this then go to at command
