TLP250 Isolated Gate Drive Operating Class

I want to Know what is the operating voltage class for TLP250 Mosfet Gate drive working as high side mos drive
i.e,
What is the maximum value of XX Volts in Image attached.

I know isolation voltages are 2.5kV but couldn't find any thing related operating class.
 

Hi,

VB:
Vb is connected to Pin8
Pin8 = VCC (at least this is what the datasheet tells)
Then go to the datasheet and find out VCC specification. (It´s not that difficult.)

V_XX:
is not connected to TLP250.
Therefore it does not relate to TLP250.

V_XX is connected to Q1.
--> go to the Q1 datasheet and find out.

Hi,

because the are completely different things. Impossible to compare with.

MOC is an isolating device between input and output.

IR2110 is not isolating.
* it has two outputs. One low side, one high side.
* low side running near 0V
* high side running near bridge output voltage. (And that´s the point. Power side voltage V_XX is connected to the driver via bridge_output. Therefore it needs to be specified for V_XX)

These are all isolated gate drives almost same as TLP250

Hi,

my final attempt:

Is V_xx somehow connected to the driver IC?

--> If not, then the IC must NOT be specified for V_xx
--> If yes, then the IC must be specified for V_xx
