tl494

how can i calculate the external components of TL494 in switch mode (step up and step down) power suppply. attached is example of a step down
VO= 5V
V1 =32V
IO =10A
f = 20 KHz

tl494 step up

Maybe you can post some of the calculations you already did, and point out the things you don't understand.

tl494 example

the TL494 data sheet did provide equations for the calculations of the external resistors thus R1 to R12. i have already calculate the other component. i will be greatful if you can help me. thanks

tl494 step down

just post your schematic, the datasheet I looked into from TI did not have R1 to R12 on...

Design Example
The following design example uses the TL494 to create a 5-V/10-A power supply. This design is
based on the following parameters:
VO = 5 V
VI = 32 V
IO = 10 A
fOSC = 20-kHz switching frequency
VR = 20-mV peak-to-peak (VRIPPLE)
ΔIL = 1.5-A inductor current change
Attached is an example of the schematic. thanks

Ok, and what do you need to calculate?
