timing analysis ?

Is timing analysis essential in a project, how to analysis it ,I'm a beginner, anybody can give me some guidance?

Re: timing analysis ?

Yes, I think timing analysis is crucial in designs.

I've really only developed using Xilinx tools, but they offer a Timing Analyzer and also general info in their IDE on the critical paths in your design. The compilation of the design is constrained by a set of timing parameters that you can specify.

Re: timing analysis ?

Of course, timing analysis is very important for a project. It can help you to find out if the project can work on your expected frequency.
