Hi

I have found the following thread, which i am trying to understand currently.

https://www.edaboard.com/threads/164851/

In that they tried to measure the thermal noise of a resistor.

I have a doubt in that, Do we need to connect any source to this transistor or we just use the resistor without any sources before calculating noise..

And is there any way to measure the noise power which is dBm in cadence virtuoso.

Thanks

Use a simple circuit by connecting an IDC current source parallel to resistor, make a noise simulation and in the result browser get a PSD of resistor noise (total, flicker, thermal)
