hi,guys
i am doing a current steering DAC, a question bothering me is how the DAC transfer the current to the output voltage. In some papers, they just say it in the measure, that is making the current flow a Rload of 50 Ω. Does the value error of this resistance by process affact the output voltage?
thanks for any helps,
best regards

i strongly recommend you use a current to voltage converter arrangment...rather than depending on the resister to do the job.

this will give more accurate voltage..

If used in CRT monitor , the current load is just a 50 ohm resistor, it's the standerd.

v=Idac*R, and for fully differential, we have two resistors loading on the board.
