Amplifier gains ??

Which Amplifier configration has more gain
a) common base
b) common emmiter
c) common collector
????????

Re: Amplifier gains ??

Common collector mode you can achieve a gain not more that just less than 1.
Common Base mode you can achieve reasonable gains.
Common emitter is the one in which you can achieve very high gains.

All these amplifier configurations have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Correct me if I am wrong...
Always open to suggestions and corrections :D

Amplifier gains ??

Common emitter will have highest again as rightly said by barath_87.

Other two configurations are mostly used for impedance matching.
