i do not know how does it work , can it equal to two inverter in series?

Re: How does it work?

There is two kind of PMOS transistors P and PA. Do you know the difference?

Well I don't but would like to know. What is PA?

Pa seems a depletion MOS device.

yes,but it is not pa , it is pd ,it is a depletion MOS device.
i think it can equal to a resistance and this circuit is a buffer?

Re: How does it work?

if this schematic is correct, then I think it is like a (sensor + pre-amp+ amp ) ckt.
maybe the left part is a CMOS sensor, the pre-amp will amplify that sensor signal, then the inverter (amp or comparator) make this signal to logic level. the rightmost part is biasing ckt (but quite strage) for the sensor.....

Re: How does it work?

the input is a logic value, either 0 or 1
and i think the diode is used for impriving the NMOS's Vth voltage……

Re: How does it work?

Try to understand the function of this circuit in its application, and that will make it clearer and easier to understand the purpose of this circuit, i think.
