Laker is good, almost like Cadence Virtuoso. They also have a utility called Techtrans which can be used to convert Cadence techfile and display.drf files to Laker techfile and laker.dsp files. Only problem is, Cadence PDKs,Pcells cannot be directly tranformed to Laker routines. In Laker all the PCell routines like drawing contact arrays, fets, guard-rings etc are softcoded in the techfile itself in TCL language. I heard that, fabs like TSMC are now releasing Laker Technology files which can be got after a formal NDA with the fab.

but it is so expensive
alternative you can use tanner Ledit
