The antivirus detects exploit.DWT as a virus. this is found in proteus setup.

I really need the proteus 7.6. But i dont want to infect my PC. My friend faced alike issue. His antivirus automatically deleted some file, and then the proteus did not work. If this file is not a threat to my PC, then i will keep this and will install the proteus. Pls put some light.

Have you contacted Labcenter ?
How is the file named?
 

Your friend might be using cracked version. Original version doesn't infect PC unless your PC is already infected.
 

C r a c k s often modify .exe files. Anti virus software looks for programs that modify .exe files. If you are using a cracked version, then you had better read the forum rules.

Check the file the antivirus deleted and google it online.with that you can know if the file is authentic or a worm/virus.it might be a false positive.
