testing whether a pin is in open drain/pushpill mode

Hello,

Could you please suggest various ways by which I can test whether a pin is in open drain mode or pushpull mode without disabling the pullups.

It depends on the pull-up value but when the output is high, see how low it goes when you try to pull it to ground with a 1k resistor.
