test patterns in scan based testing and difference between primry inpt & tst vectr

In scan based testing, whaat is the difference between primary inputs and test vectors.whether the test vector is also given to the primary input

Re: test patterns in scan based testing and difference between primry inpt & tst vect

Primary inputs are all inputs on which the test vector could be applied.
I used "could" because the primary inputs include the scan inputs, and the scan inputs could not included all primary inputs, and dependant how you generate the patterns (or test vector), the primary inputs except the scan inputs could be not stimulated.
