[SOLVED] TE10 horn antenna for GPR?

hi,
can a TE10 mode pyramidal horn antenna be used for ground penetrating radar applications?

Sure. But since the ground dielectric constant is somewhere between 2 and 60, I would be tempted to load the horn with a plastic with an er of around 10.
