Read this You don't seem to have an understanding of what a CAM (and therefore a TCAM) is.
A CAM memory is given the data and outputs the location in the memory array that data resides at. The source and destination port address isn't an address to the CAM it's the data stored in the CAM and the CAM will "search" for that data to determine if it's stored in the CAM or not.
