hi,
i have to design a 3dB coupler on strip line. i want to use tandem configuration using two 8.34 couplers and i am using parralel lines couplers.
lets say
port1->input
port2->direct
port3->coupled
port4->isolated
the phase difference between direct and coupled port comes to be 90 degree...
my question is that the second 8.34 coupler must be connected to first 8.34 coupler to which ports.... since i am connecting to coupled and isolated ports and results are no where closer to giving 3 db output....

thanx bro...
it confirmed that a planar tandem connection for strip line using two 8.34dB couplers is not possible.
