synopsys error id=489925

After "design_analyzer & " command DA display OK.
But when I try to read verilog or vhdl files, I am getting the following error

-----------------------------------
Initializing...
Error id=489925

Fatal: Internal system error, cannot recover.
---------------------------------------

I am using redhat linux 7.3, design analyzer version (synopsys.2001.08 for linux)
What is the solution ?
I changed the other version(2003.12-SP1) but it isn't also working.
I'll wait for your help and advice.
Thanks.

error id 489925 in synopsys design analyzer

Maybe you could use des!gn_vis!on instead of design @nalysis.

both of them seem to have a problem on rh 9.0 and even on fedora.this issue has been discussed earlier by roli.its because of the gui used by these programs which dont seem to be compatible with red hat versions.best thing is to install them on rh 7.2.if not for design vision just run
"design vision -no_gui"
and then type "start gui" both these without quotes.but for me they have not solved the problem completely

After "design_analyzer & " command DA display OK.
Don't use "file->read" menu to read files.
You can open command window and use "read -f ....." command
This maybe a bug in dc for linux.
Or you can use design_vision.
My dc version is 2003.03 (rh linux 9.0)

You have to check the error message log file. Is the verilog and VHDL readin license missing!

not a problem of license.but its a bug of dc 2003.06 .a problem with the gui used by linux (motif etc).but better to contact support of synopsys directly or download some service packs from their site

Could you name out the ServicePacks' names clearly ?
