The Texas Instrument TLC04 data sheet is a little ambiguous. It suggests several circuits relating to CMOS vs TTL clocks, single vs bi-polar supply, etc. etc.

With a TTL clock, a signal source having a 5V DC bias, and AGND biased to mid-supply, the datasheet suggests that a 10V power supply be used.

My requirements are a little different.

My signal source has a 2.5V DC bias. Can a 5V power supply work without issue here?
