antena stutzman elektrotekno

I just finished book called Foundations of antennas by Per-Simon Kildal. I didnt like it because explanation of some chapters was poor.

I think that i will read some other book for antennas. Could somebody recommend some book, which is quite easy to read and explanation is so simple as it could be in this type of books.

I am interested in books from writers like Balanis, Kraus, Stutzman...

Re: antenna book

Hi,
Antennas - by KRAUSS is a good book on the theory of antennas.

Re: antenna book

you can refer to any of the following books..

1) balanis
2) jordan and balmain
3) johnson
4) kraus

i regularly use these and find them quite useful in the complementary sense. that is , whatever is not written so clearly in one book can be found in another.. together, these four are really sufficient for most stuff..

Re: antenna book

Taskuraha,
Try "The ARRL Antenna Book". It's published by the American Radio Relay League, which is an organization for amateur radio operators.
Regards,
Kral

Re: antenna book

antenna stutzman is very good.

antenna book

Try elliot: Antenna theory.
But start with krauss,to learn antenna engineering.
The historical previews are eally inspiring

antenna book

Jordan and Kraus r the books we r using for Antennas..

Re: antenna book

Jordan is a very good book since it deals from the scratch. The required EM theory for the antennas had also be given there..

Re: antenna book

Antenna theory by Balanis is quit well,
you can find basic selfstudy materials in the first chapters.

after that, move on to "Stutzman".

but if you want to study any specific field of the antenna, I can tell you.

but for beginning, start with balanis. Quite simple and well.

Re: antenna book

I red that balanis book and its good. I also like stuzman

Re: antenna book

Antenna and wave
propagation
by K.D. Prasad is a good
book
:)
