3 phase phasor detection

Hi Gents,

I'm trying to detect the cross point of the 3 phases using analog circuit design and wanted some suggestions. the phases cross on the negative side at ever 120deg, i'd like some way of detecting this to a micro, any ideas?

3 phase phasor detection

Did you consider analog comparators?

Re: 3 phase phasor detection

Hi FvM,

Yes I had initially thought of using a comparator in some way but wasn't sure on the circuit required, any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ringo

3 phase phasor detection

The basic circuit involves three comparators for the individual phase voltages.
