Hello I have a AT45DB161D-SU chip(SOIC-8). I wanted to know what is the Cheapest Programmer I would need to Read and Write to this chip?

Also any adapters or Sockets I may need to complete this operation.

Could I use a ICSP cable to read and write?

Your insight is grealty appreciated

Thank You
Marc

Re: Atmel Programmer?

I think the latest one (2007 version) will do what you want:
**broken link removed**

you can program it in system with this programmer so you don't need an SOIC to DIP adapter.

Re: Atmel Programmer?

If you want low cost for atmel microcontroller programming ponyprog progrmmer kit is the best solution for that.

Chanchal
