it works good in windows XP.

there are many 8051 simulators.
attached is 8051 workbench. Lots of things you can do with this, I never used the simulator.

u can use Keil there is a demo version of it u can simulate r u can use Raid for u dont get both try google search u can get some free 8051 simulator
