How to define ports in substrate integrated waveguides . Can anyone help me design a simple structure of SIW fc at 10Ghz in hFSS.
 

SIW ports can be simply defined as:
Length of port = distance between the two vias column (from centre, the same distance you calculate when you desing SIW)
Width of port = covering dielectric just touching both the upper and bottom metal surfaces (relate it more to dielectric filled waveguide).
