Hi

I have successfully amplified a full whetstone bridge using strain gauges using INA128. The output from the bridge is around 80mV, ranging 75mV to 90mV when I bend the steel beam, then amplified voltage ranges from 2.470V to 2.500V. The delta of the amplified voltage range is very small; ~30mV. I would like to use ADS1252 (uses SPI to send data) to convert the 30mV differences to PIC16F1824 so I can send control other devices connected to the PIC.

Since I have not yet used SPI in PICs and I was wondering what kind of data does an SPI-based ADC send over SPI link? Is it simply an integer of the ADC value?

Thank you!
Eric.
