Hi all,

Its a common observation that the input supply of 3-phase motors are indicated
by the symbols R,S and T. Does anyone of you know what R,S and T means?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
simon

Three consecutive characters from alphabet, the same as U, V, W, which is alternatively used to designate three-phase nets.
Has been replaced by L1, L2, L3 in newer standards.

Hi

Thanks for your reply but what does R,S and T stand for?
