Hi,

I have running primetime for my project and I found that hold violations are not same for report_analysis_coverage versus report_constraint.

For your reference, below are my commands

> report_analysis_coverage

Type of Check Total Met Violated Untested
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
setup 20114 17136 ( 85%) 145 ( 1%) 2833 ( 14%)
hold 20114 3035 ( 15%) 14246 ( 71%) 2833 ( 14%)
.
.
.

and for report_constraint as below

> report_constraints -all_violators -min_delay -path_type end -nosplit

total hold violation = 13183

...why total violations are not same? which one I should report to stakeholder?

Thanks,

which version of PT are youu using?

Birdy,

version 2010.06 SP3 4 ... any info about it?

Hello faizalism,

I guess the end of the command is causing some of the path not to be considered....
May be you can just try..
> report_constraints -all_violators -min_delay

Just a quick check - have you tried the same with the latest version also. because this one is very old version. I will cehck this version also but still its worth to try in the latest version.

Rely on report_cons -all_viol report . report_analysis_coverage need few extra settings to match with report_cons -all_viol -min_delay. Use only report_cons -all_viol -min_del for signoff.
