I have been trying to build a square to circular wg transformer. For some reason it is proving to be more challenging than a rectangular to circular or rectangular to square. Is there something special that I am missing? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I have calculated the impedances and found the matching section impedance and guide length. It doesn't behave like a quarter transformer should in simulation.
