speech recognition on isolated words

hi all

I want to simulate a speech regonition technique for isolated words on matlab.

Plz help me on this topic....
I want to know the algorithims that are required to implement it.

hey...

they r 2 well known algos...discrete time wraping n hidden markov model...both dealin with statistical signal processing. the former is a bit out dated one. on that is being used at the moment in HMM. so, if u ask me i advice you to go wid that.

n regarding the algo...u can search in the book....
