Specifying Tap cells distance

Hi Folks,

We are specifying some x distance (50u) between tap cells.

How they are specifying this distances. On what bases they they are specifying a particular value.

for TSMC0.18, 60um is the maximum, then each 55um is correct.

Hi ,

if you are not providing x distance to TAPCELS you will get LATCHUP Violation.Drc name is LATCHUP
