I'm wondering what approach to use to get started with Sound Processing on FPGA. For now I'd just like to simulate a FPGA that will output the minimum and maximum value of an audio clip that is streamed into it. I'm struggling to find helpful resources online so any advice on how to get started would be much appreciated :)

Hi,

a stream may be endless. So you jaus want to "listen" and find out MIN and MAX value?

What interface is used by the stream? WiFi, Bluetoots, I2S, USB, Ethernet....
What format?
Compressed or encrypted, plain?

Datarate, channel count, resolution....

Klaus
