Sony KV-32FX60D sound adjustment?

kv-32fx60d service menu

I have just been given this TV and the built in subwoofer is not doing its job properly. If i adjust the graphic equaliser for max bass i can just hear it.
Is there any way to adjust the gain independently of the volume? Maybe from the service menu?
Any advice gratefully recieved.
Steve.
