hi guys

can somebody explian a pure reactance is noiseless?

thank u.

The thermal noise power in a resistor is 4kTRB.
Pure reactance C or L cannot dissipate energy, and so cannot generate thermal noise.

Sounds like a phantom argument. Since there is no such thing as a "pure reactance" on planet earth, why discuss it? Just assume all reactances are lossy, and as such have thermal noise.
