Hi,all,

I faced a problem . when I used a parallel IV to download bit file .why failed often.moreover , I failed when I set the cable ""Parallel Iv " even if It is true, and the ise recongnize it as Parallel III. why?

I successed somedays ago. I only changed a new computer main board. There are some relaions between the main board and the fpga?

Thanks

Johnny

No there is no relation between the main board and the FPGA. But there can be a couple of problems. One your parallel port might have problems. Or the cable might not be good. Or you could have busted the parallel to JTAG interface on the FPGA board.
