hello every one
i need some help over somthing extremely urjent.
i have a wire coming out from an analog multiplier wich gives me
a result X , in single mode.
i have to have exactly X+8.62.
how do i do this?
with wich op_Amp can i do this?
thanks

Re: urgent help!!

use adder circuit .
add X with 8.62volts.

you can use any opamp fro lm741 onwards.

urgent help!!

Hey, the schema tells me some others...
You have a VCO output (100-200MHz) to that is + 8.62 to add!
Is it so?
Unclear is than the blue modul, what is than these pls? At 100--200MHz are not all amplifire to use :-(
What about input signal amplitude/usable supplies etc...
K.

Re: urgent help!!

200MHz ?

sorry . the above suggestion is not applicable.

urgent help!!

Ok,
I have checked/get yet; VCO`s pin 5 is tuning input.
I would take some better Op as srizbf proposed, better for offset_i.e. Op27 or moderner derivates in noninverting circuit with a gain of +8.62....
What is the input signal range for that & is it single suplyed?

Re: urgent help!!

well
first of all thanks
my name is yuval and i am trying to do a project in analog communication
which part of it is building a BPSK reciver and decoder.
the output 'X'of the multiplier should go into the jtos-200 vco
where it has to be biased with 8.62v in order to work in the near frequencis of 7.5MHz
the question is how do i bias it 8.6v?
the output of the multiplier is X<|1|
i am from the technion in Haifa , by the way

urgent help!!

Hi,
The answer is over your lines_ from yesterday! :)
K.

Added after 2 minutes:

You can apply an external DC to the VCO over an yoke_as tipical RF biasings makes, or even add to the noninverting op`s input an offset for a stabile +8.62V output + feed to that the multiplier signal too...
