Solving 6 input combinational functions

hi,
what is the approach on solving 6 input combinational functions?
using kmap for higher variable functions seems extremely difficult...
Please suggest any alternatives...
Please give any links /tutorials on this

you should also do google search with gate-level minimization using sis. Sis is a tool from UC Berkeley.
