Orcad uses PSpice, so that eliminates one possibility. I'd use PSpice rather than Matlab if you want to take into account the model of the real device you want to use.
You may want to take a look at PSim, it's optimized for Power Electronics.
Maybe you'll find the model for this device on the manufacturer's website.
I will use PSpice or even PROTEUS, but as cyberblank said, PROTEUS is like Orcad, PROTEUS uses libs from PSpice, but it has a friendly interface. For any electric or electronic circuit, in my opinion, I will use always PROTEUS or PSpice.
